Implants
Dental implants provide a permanent solution for patients needing tooth replacement. Implants are built to last for years and feel like natural teeth, allowing patients to feel great about their smile. Implants can replace a tooth immediately after extraction, or replace a tooth that has been missing for an extended period of time. Implants provide reliable results giving patients the smile they have always wanted.

Gingival Grafts
Gingival grafts are done to treat gum recession when there is lack of tissue on the root surface. Exposed roots are vulnerable to decay and sensitive to hot and cold. This procedure helps to prevent exposed roots from further decay, and alleviates sensitivity issues. Gum tissue plays an important role in supporting our teeth. If not treated, mobility or tooth loss can occur.

Functional Crown Lengthening
Functional crown lengthening is a surgical procedure to expose more of a tooth, allowing the tooth to be more visible above the gum line. This procedure adjusts the level of gum tissue around a tooth. If you have a cracked or damaged tooth, functional crown lengthening allows the doctor to be able to access the tooth easily, and allows the crown to fit better. Usually this is done when your tooth needs a new crown or filling, and the healing time is approximately 6 weeks.

Cosmetic Crown Lengthening
Cosmetic crown lengthening is a procedure where excess gum and bone tissue are reshaped. This procedure can correct a gummy type of smile, and expose more of a patient’s natural tooth. Cosmetic crown lengthening can make your teeth look longer and improve the aesthetics of the gum line.

Ridge Augmentation
Ridge augmentation is a surgical procedure to create the proper support for an implant. Implants need adequate bone in the jaw to last and remain stable. This procedure helps to build the bone back up, and provides the needed support for implants. Ridge loss can occur from trauma, periodontal disease, or genetic conditions.

Bone Graft
Bone grafting is done to increase, maintain, and restore bone strength from tooth loss, gum disease, or trauma. Many procedures such as implants require adequate bone structure to ensure the procedure is a success. Bone grafts provide a solid base for dental implants. Restoring and maintaining bone structure in the mouth also helps to support the face, and keeps the mouth looking great.

Pocket reduction surgery
Pocket reduction surgery is a surgical procedure that surgically removes infection from gum tissue and root surfaces and pocket depth.
Pinhole Graft procedure
The Pinhole Graft Procedure is minimally invasive, and repairs gum shrinkage through a pinhole in the gum. This procedure does not require our team to cut the gum, and is a new way to treat gingival recession for patients. During this procedure no grafting is needed. The patients existing gum tissue is moved using instruments inserted through the small opening in the gums to cover any exposed root surface. Once this is done, collagen strips are then used to help stabilize the gums. The collagen strips help create new tissue, hold the gum tissue in place, and help assist in the healing process.
The Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique can be used to treat patients that have gum recession, but do not have periodontal disease, and are in overall great oral health. This technique can treat a patient’s entire mouth in one appointment, compared to other treatment options that require multiple appointments to complete the treatment. This treatment option has helped many patients, and has a 90% success rate in treating gum recession.
