This treatment removes and cleans the plaque on the tooth and root surfaces.Scaling and root planinghelps to shrink periodontal pockets, remove bacteria,and heal the gum tissue.This treatment alsoprevents further infectionand keeps your gums looking and feeling great. After thistreatment gums should recede less and be restored.

At home oral hygiene is very important to keeping your gums healthy. We will talk to you about thetooth brush you are using and discuss your oral hygiene habits. We may recommend a daily rinse to helprinse away plaque.
